APPROVAL OF THE CAREER ACADEMY MATCHING GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE STEM ACADEMY FOR NORTH PORT HIGH SCHOOL AND BOOKER HIGH SCHOOL
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $50,000 will be used to purchase equipment and software necessary to implement curriculum provided by The STEM Academy to develop new career academies at North Port and Booker High Schools.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Career Academy Matching Grant.
